I used this carrier type (not exactly the same pattern) until my kid was the limit 25 pounds-- for my little baby that was around 18 months. I loved that she faced in when she was very small so strangers didn't touch her or get in her face, and I liked how easy it was to get her out without waking her up, as opposed to a sling.
I felt less back strain and shoulder pain in a carrier like this, as opposed to a one shoulder sling.

I like to beutiful design by Maclaren.
However, This carrier is only for look good.
Maclaren could not figure out that how to make back side of carrier.
I don't know, my baby was compatable with this product. but my wife got pain on her neck.
